I was born in Canada and grew up in this beautiful little corner of the Iberian Peninsula called Portugal.

Painting watercolors is my passion. When I paint, I feel a connection with nature in an incredible way, I feel a sort of “lightness” and “tranquility” as if everything had come to a standstill all around me.

I am a proud mother of three wonderful children that keep me rather busy, but that also give me an enormous will to create artwork around beautiful flowers, birds, butterflies and an array of little creatures each with it’s own individuality.

My education was always geared towards the arts. After completing a degree in communication and web design, which threw me into the corporate world, I worked as a designer of company Logo’s, corporate imaging and websites. Nevertheless, my spare time was always dedicated to drawing and painting, it made me feel happy and, funny enough, also gave me a sense of achievement.

It all began one day, just like any other day, when a good friend asked to buy the original of a painting in watercolor featuring a little squirrel. It was like a “flash”, at that moment I realized that my passion for painting could be the beginning of a business model that could, with dedication and a lot of work, turn into a full time occupation in something I really like to do.

Well, I did push ahead with the idea and, guess what, here I am!
